Cream of Potato Soup
2 tablespoons butter
4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 medium onions, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon curry powder
1.2 liters milk
salt and pepper to taste
Heat butter in large pot
and add potato and onion. Cook until soft but
do not brown. Add curry powder and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add other
ingredients. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. If curry is
too hot, add 1 teaspoon sugar.
Puree in blender. Serve with hot, garlic bread.
