Healthy Corn and Black Bean Soup Recipe for 8 using a Slow Cooker

Corn and black bean soup recipe from our healthy soup recipes section. Use your slow cooker to make this delicious homemade soup.

This bean soup recipe uses canned beans, but of course you can make this soup using dried beans too. However, it does take a while to pre-soak and then cook the beans. If the beans are well dried then it could take up to 2 hours to cook them before being able to add them to your soup.

Look at our black bean soup with lime and cumin recipe page for more details on how to cook the dried beans.
